Vercel says AI agents can now search for domains, check availability and registrar prices, and initiate purchases through its command-line interface. The CLI includes an agent-facing skill that guides agents through discovery, pricing, and purchase.

Users retain the purchase decision. When run without an interactive terminal, the buy command returns a structured error and suggested next commands, handing confirmation back to the user. Users can confirm the price, automatic renewal choice, and registrant contact details through an interactive terminal or the dashboard.
