Groove Capital announced today it has made its 100th investment. The Minneapolis-based early-stage investing and venture capital engine reached the milestone as stated in its press release. Groove Capital launched in 2020 with a mission to fuel innovation at its earliest stages in Minnesota. In its first six years, the firm is well ahead of its own ambitious value-creation timeline. About half of its portfolio companies are women-led and minority-owned. Reed Robinson, founder and partner of Groove Capital, said Minnesota has a great history of entrepreneurs creating companies of global scale and tomorrow's leaders require investment today. Mickayla Rosard, partner of Groove Capital, said the firm is proud to play a leading role in cultivating and changing the community around early-stage investing.
