Ocugen has changed the primary outcome measure for its pivotal Phase 3 OCU400 gene therapy trial from MLMT to LDNA, newscase reported, citing an investor presentation carried in an SEC filing. The company confirmed enrollment of 140 patients in the liMeliGhT study, with topline results expected in the first quarter of 2027. Ocugen also detailed its exclusive OCU400 licensing agreement with Roots Pharmaceutical for the Middle East and North Africa. Terms include up to $4 million in upfront and development payments, up to $255 million tied to sales milestones, and royalties of 22% of net sales. Ocugen retains responsibility for manufacturing and supply; revenue depends on regulatory approvals and commercial uptake.
