Rydox marketplace administrator pleads guilty to identity theft and money laundering charges

Ardit Kutleshi has pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft and money laundering conspiracy for his role in operating Rydox, an online marketplace for stolen personal information, login credentials and cybercrime tools. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison on the money laundering charge and a mandatory minimum of two years on the identity theft charge. Court documents say sellers completed more than 7,600 sales of stolen credentials, payment information and personal data before authorities shut Rydox down in 2024. The site also offered more than 321,000 other cybercrime products to over 18,000 users. Kutleshi is scheduled for sentencing on February 9, 2027.
