# AWS adds organization-wide view of CloudTrail logging gaps

AWS introduced CloudTrail Event Coverage, a console dashboard showing which services and resource types have data-event logging enabled across accounts and organizations. Customers can subscribe to data events directly from the dashboard, AWS said.

Data events record operations such as reading or writing individual Amazon S3 objects, helping security teams detect unauthorized access or data removal. The dashboard consolidates coverage across supported event sources instead of requiring manual checks across accounts. It is available in all commercial AWS Regions where CloudTrail is supported.
