# Revolut discloses customer data exposure at brokerage partner

Revolut disclosed on September 24 that customer information held by its U.S. stock-trading partner DriveWealth was accessed after a social engineering attack on September 4 and 5, parameter.io reported. Exposed records include names, contact details, demographic information and partial account identifiers. Neither company disclosed how many people were affected.

Revolut said its own systems and customers' funds were unaffected, and that passwords, payment card details and identity documents were not compromised. Customers of two other DriveWealth partners, Stake and Hatch, also faced data exposure. For European Economic Area users, only records shared before Revolut stopped sending data to DriveWealth in December 2023 are relevant.
