# ESDS opens IPO targeting data-center expansion

Indian cloud provider ESDS Software Solution opened an IPO on August 28 targeting Rs 720 crore ($75.4 million). The company said about Rs 576 crore ($60.35 million) of the proceeds would fund cloud-computing equipment and data-center infrastructure. ESDS also plans to expand existing sites and establish facilities in Kolkata and Sahibabad, while exploring international opportunities. The company operates five data centers and lists two additional facilities as upcoming. It offers cloud and managed services, including GPU-as-a-service.
