Bitcoin Japan proposes 40% stake in robotics data venture with MR. ROBOT Image: Primary
Bitcoin Japan says it signed a non-binding memorandum with Malaysia's MR. ROBOT to establish a venture providing robot training data, engineering and deployment support. Bitcoin Japan would hold 40% and MR. ROBOT 60%, targeting robot manufacturers and physical AI developers. MR. ROBOT would lead Malaysian data collection, annotation and engineering. Bitcoin Japan would contribute five humanoids initially and lead Japanese business development, with specified data-governance approval and veto rights contemplated. The companies aim to sign a definitive agreement in November 2026 and start data collection in January 2027. The venture requires a definitive agreement and board approval; the memorandum transfers no intellectual property or data rights.
