Waymo opened driverless rides in Denver, San Diego and Tampa, The Next Web reported. Denver is its first commercial city with substantial snowfall, but Waymo did not say whether its vehicles will operate in snow. The company has said vehicles are designed to stop safely as conditions worsen. It has also announced mapping in Munich this autumn for a service planned in late 2027.
