Morehead State University's Space Science program received additional federal funding of over $7.5 million during a Tuesday visit by NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, astronaut Stephen Bowen and U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers. Rogers announced the funding during the visit.

The university provided tracking support for Artemis II. Isaacman said Morehead is one of the few locations worldwide able to contribute to deep-space network communication and that its technology offers opportunities to support future missions.
