Aixtron reported preliminary third-quarter order intake of about €275 million, above the €214.6 million median analyst estimate in a company-provided poll, Investing.com reported. Chief Executive Felix Grawert said strong demand for equipment used in lasers for AI data-center communications continued to drive orders. Revenue reached about €184 million, while operating profit was about €57 million, compared with €15.4 million a year earlier. Aixtron attributed the profitability beat mainly to a favorable product mix and confirmed its full-year guidance. The company will publish its full third-quarter statement on October 29.
