ChatGPT expanded its Finances feature to Free and Go users in the United States on October 2, Sayaka Takamine reported, citing OpenAI's release notes. The feature lets users connect financial accounts and ask ChatGPT about expenses, balances, recurring payments and investments.

Finances is now available to US users on Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans. The expansion gives users on the Free and Go plans access to financial account connections previously outside their rollout scope.
