Apple announced the iPhone Upgrade Program is being replaced by a new program called Apple Upgrade. The company said current members can continue making their remaining monthly payments and will have options for their next device including the new leasing program, carrier deals, financing or a one-time payment. Apple Upgrade allows customers to lease a new iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch with low monthly payments. At the end of the lease term, customers can upgrade to a new device and return their current device. The program is available only at Apple. The company said it wants to thank members of the iPhone Upgrade Program for their participation. Customers with questions can chat with a Specialist online or in a store.
