Vercel adds CLI budget controls with optional production pauses

Vercel adds CLI budget controls with optional production pauses Image: Primary
Vercel says teams can now view, set and remove spending budgets through its command-line interface, allowing scripts and agents to manage the same budget available in billing settings. Users can also retrieve budget alert history and filter it by date or export it as JSON. Setting a budget alone does not stop usage. An optional pause flag makes production deployments across all projects on the team unavailable when spending reaches 100% of the budget. Managing budgets requires an Owner or Billing role. The feature costs no extra for Pro teams and Enterprise teams on the Flexible Commitment plan.
