AMD plans to extend FSR 4, its machine-learning technology for improving gaming frame rates, to integrated processors, gaming laptops and handheld devices by the end of 2026. Consumer chip chief Jack Huynh outlined the expansion in comments to The Elec, moving beyond AMD's previous commitment to desktop graphics cards.

The Elec reported that a new integrated processor and a lightweight FSR 4 model are due by year-end. Support for existing handhelds remains unclear: AMD previously said devices need sufficient computing capacity, and Valve has not committed to bringing FSR 4 to Steam Deck.
