# Redshift adds reusable query results stored as Apache Iceberg tables

AWS says Amazon Redshift now lets data teams create and refresh materialized views stored as Apache Iceberg tables. These views compute expensive joins and aggregations once, then store the results in Amazon S3 or S3 table buckets for other compatible query engines to read without copying or converting them.

The tables are registered in the AWS Glue Data Catalog and can be queried by engines including Athena, Spark, Trino and Snowflake. Manual incremental refresh recomputes only changed data. The feature is available in regions supporting Redshift Serverless and provisioned Graviton instances.
