# AWS makes GPT-6.1 Terra generally available on Bedrock

AWS announced general availability of OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Terra on Amazon Bedrock, giving customers access through Bedrock APIs and configurations for ChatGPT Work and Codex. The model accepts text and images and supports up to 1 million input tokens of context.

AWS says input and output token prices are at least 50% lower than those of GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-5.6 Terra. Customers can apply AWS access controls and audit model invocations. The announcement cites OpenAI's evaluation results for performance comparisons, including a 15 percentage point improvement over GPT-5.6 Terra on Agents' Last Exam.
