Archer takes ownership of Wisk in Boeing stake deal

Archer takes ownership of Wisk in Boeing stake deal Image: Primary
Archer Aviation has announced that it now owns former rival Wisk Aero after Boeing agreed to sell Wisk and two other subsidiaries in exchange for an ownership stake in Archer. Boeing now holds 16.5% of Archer, while airspace-management software company SkyGrid and drone maker Insitu are also part of the transaction. Wisk had previously sued Archer over alleged theft of confidential information and intellectual property before the companies settled and began collaborating. The deal consolidates eVTOL development assets under Archer as the sector continues through a lengthy regulatory process.
