Google makes Confidential G4 GPU instances available across 36 zones

Google makes Confidential G4 GPU instances available across 36 zones Image: primary
Google Cloud made Confidential G4 instances generally available across 36 zones on Compute Engine virtual machines and Google Kubernetes Engine nodes. The instances use Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs to protect data and model parameters during processing through memory encryption and hardware-based verification of the execution environment. Google reports less than 3.5% throughput degradation in selected inference benchmarks against standard G4 instances. Performance varies with configuration and workload; customer Vertebrae reported a 5.2% increase in end-to-end latency.
