Trane Technologies deployed a conversational system that it says reduced a 20-minute HVAC diagnostic workflow to 20 seconds in internal technician tests conducted over several weeks. Engineers built the system in three to four weeks using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and the Strands framework.

The agent retrieves live equipment telemetry and technical documents through a centralized tool gateway, maintains session context and tailors access by user role. Trane's result is based on its own benchmarking, and the account provides no independent evaluation of diagnostic accuracy.
