Drupal shipped fixes on October 14 for a critical Field UI flaw that can allow attackers to run code on a site's server. The Hacker News reported that contributed modules expose several attack paths, including at least one requiring no login; Drupal core alone does not expose the flaw.

Versions 11.4.10, 11.3.19 and 10.6.19 contain fixes. Sites unable to update can uninstall Field UI for protection, temporarily losing its field management pages. Older unsupported branches received no fix. As of October 15, no public exploit code or attacks using the flaw had been reported.
