# US lawmakers plan bill restricting Flock camera use

Two US lawmakers said they plan to introduce legislation that would reduce federal transportation funding for states that do not restrict Flock cameras and other automated license-plate readers. The proposed No FLOCK Act would direct the transportation secretary to withhold 10% of annual highway, road and bridge support unless states limit use to five specified cases, including tolls, stolen vehicles and felony investigations. The funding penalty would begin in October 2028 if enacted.
