Prime Intellect ships Rust rewrite of Prime Agent with Windows support

Rewriting Prime Agent in Rust Image: Primary
Prime Intellect released a Rust rewrite of Prime Agent, adding Windows support and isolating each session in its own worker process so one session's failure leaves others running. The company says the rewrite makes time to input roughly 14x faster than the TypeScript version and reduces memory use after startup by over 80%. Prime Agent orchestrated over 2,000 agents across 10,000+ sandboxes to perform the rewrite, using over 200 billion tokens. Humans established verification, directed follow-up changes and reviewed results. The performance suite measures terminal behavior against a scripted model and excludes inference; the company cautions that comparisons with other harnesses lack a common benchmark standard.
