# SoftBank closes DigitalBridge takeover; CEO outlines infrastructure role

SoftBank has closed its $4bn takeover of DigitalBridge, the Financial Times reported. DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi said the data center investment group will become SoftBank's "third-party infrastructure arm," describing its role under the new owner.
