Anthropic has reportedly signed a $35 billion cloud-capacity agreement with neocloud Lambda for 350MW at a data center being developed in Nueces County, Texas. Data Center Dynamics attributes the report to the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter, and says Nvidia will hold the data-center lease. Hut 8 is developing the 525-acre Beacon Point campus near Corpus Christi and targets initial energization in the first quarter of 2027, with 1GW planned for the site.
