US and China agree to set up AI risk dialogue and incident hotline

The United States and China have agreed to set up a "Super Intelligence Dialogue" on AI risks and a separate communications channel for AI incidents, Axios reported. The agreement gives the two governments planned routes to discuss risks and communicate about incidents. The incident hotline was likened to a Cold War-era "red telephone." Both arrangements are agreements to establish channels.
