xAI introduced Grok 4.7 for coding and knowledge work and made it available through the Grok API, Cursor and Grok Build. The model costs $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens.

Independent testing cited by The Decoder placed Grok 4.7 at 46 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, compared with 53 for both Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT-6. Its agentic-coding result was weaker: 26% on Terminal-Bench 4.0, versus 60% for GPT-6 Astra and 55% for Claude Fable 5.1. The benchmarks therefore show a price-performance tradeoff rather than category-leading capability.
