DeepSeek-V4-Flash Update
Image: Primary DeepSeek announced Thursday the official release of its DeepSeek-V4-Flash API in public beta. The company said the API calling method remains unchanged and users can access the latest version by setting the model name to deepseek-v4-flash.
DeepSeek said the V4-Flash-0731 model keeps the same architecture and size as the preview version and was only re-post-trained. The company published benchmark scores including 82.7 on Terminal Bench 2.1, 76.7 on Cybergym, 70.3 on Toolathlon verified, and 68.7 on DSBench-FullStack.
DeepSeek noted the update only upgrades the V4-Flash API and that the V4-Pro API and APP/WEB models are unchanged. The company said the official release of DeepSeek-V4-Pro will follow soon.
