# AWS adds three Linux releases to WorkSpaces Personal

AWS has added Rocky Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and Ubuntu 26.04 LTS bundles to Amazon WorkSpaces Personal. The managed desktop options are available in Standard, Performance, Power and PowerPro sizes in all AWS Regions where WorkSpaces is available.

The bundles let customers use software packages available only in the newer releases and include Wayland display technology. Customers select a managed bundle when creating a new Linux WorkSpace. Earlier Linux bundles remain available, and existing WorkSpaces continue running without changes, allowing customers to migrate when their applications and workflows are ready.
