GrapheneOS said it has produced a partial port to the Pixel 11 series after a week of work but cannot complete it because ARM hardware memory tagging is unsupported in software, firmware and, the project said, likely hardware. The project said Google appears to have removed the security feature to reduce costs. The post does not establish whether Pixel 11 hardware lacks memory tagging or confirm Google's rationale.
