Google announced that Ask YouTube is rolling out to all users on Android and iOS in the United States, removing its Premium subscription requirement. The conversational feature uses Gemini to answer questions about videos, with responses that can extend beyond the video's contents.

Access previously favored Premium subscribers and television users. Google plans to expand availability gradually; access from the Shorts watch page and during live streams will arrive in a later release.
