Chainalysis said an attacker accessed customer user IDs, full names, email addresses and organization role labels after gaining unauthorized access to its systems and internal tools. The blockchain analytics company attributed the breach to offensive AI agent techniques, SecurityWeek reported.

The company said investigation content, transaction and query results, clear-text passwords, and other credentials and secrets were not compromised. It continues to investigate the breach's scope and has not disclosed how many individuals were affected. Chainalysis recommended that users enable multifactor authentication and watch for unexpected authentication prompts and password reset requests.
