AWS opens SageMaker Studio signup with Google, GitHub and Apple accounts

AWS says new SageMaker Studio customers can now sign up with Google, GitHub or Apple credentials and enter a configured environment without traditional AWS account setup or a credit card. The change lets them use free credits to fine-tune, evaluate and deploy foundation models without first navigating the AWS Console and configuring access permissions. Customers can invite collaborators by email to share models, notebooks and endpoints using their own social credentials. The feature is available in all AWS Commercial Regions supporting Studio. Projects that grow beyond free credits can upgrade to a paid plan and set a spending limit.
