# Grey opens local-currency payouts to four African countries

Nigerian payments company Grey now allows direct payouts to recipients in Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Rwanda. The new routes let individuals and businesses send money in recipients' local currencies, including West African CFA francs, Central African CFA francs and Rwandan francs.

Grey already offers accounts in U.S. dollars, British pounds and euros and supports transfers to more than 170 destinations. The added payout routes give customers a direct way to send funds into four markets that together account for more than US$7 billion in remittance flows.
