Mundo raises $20 million Series A for multimodal AI data work
Image: Primary Vancouver startup Mundo has raised a $20 million Series A led by GreatPoint Ventures, following an earlier unannounced $4 million seed round. The company says it is building datasets and evaluation frameworks for multimodal AI systems that interpret unstructured signals including speech, video, gestures and social context. Mundo said the new funding will support hiring across research, engineering and operations as it expands that data and evaluation infrastructure.
