NVIDIA Kubernetes Engine is available in preview as a management plane for creating and operating Kubernetes clusters on an operator's own GPU infrastructure, its repository says. Each customer workload cluster has its own control plane, etcd data store and node pools. The software provisions machines through NVIDIA Infra Controller, the preview's sole compatible infrastructure provider.

Operators can create and scale node pools, upgrade Kubernetes and replace nodes, subject to manual steps and preview limits. NVIDIA advises against production use. API authentication is off and access uses plain HTTP after installation, requiring operator configuration; the management plane has no upgrade or backup and restore procedure.
