Landis+Gyr reported a $509 million contract with a major US investor-owned utility in its October 29 earnings release, according to earnings-call highlights first published by GuruFocus. The October award lifted its order backlog above $4.2 billion, from $3.7 billion at September 30.

First-half fiscal 2026 revenue fell 6.3% to $501.4 million because of project deployment timing. Adjusted gross margin rose 370 basis points to 37.7%, driven by operational efficiencies and favorable product mix. Operating cash flow reached $74 million, up 220%, while the trailing 12-month ratio of orders to revenue stood at 0.8x.
