Google is directing users of some support pages to AI summaries and a Gemini chatbot instead of opening the original articles, 9to5Google reports. The change affects Google Account Help and Chrome topics, including pages for compromised accounts and two-step verification problems.

Users can reach the original articles through a "View Sources" button beneath the AI response. The central help hub also replaces visible topic links with a chatbot. The rollout appears limited to selected topics: Pixel Help still opens articles, and Google warns that the AI summaries can be inaccurate.
