Crusoe CEO cites nearly $4 billion funding, valuation near $31 billion

Crusoe CEO Chase Lochmiller said the AI infrastructure company has nearly $4 billion in fresh funding, lifting its valuation to almost $31 billion. He said the capital will support building data centers, cloud computing, and managed AI services. Lochmiller said Crusoe could eventually enter public markets and argued data-center opposition reflects a marketing issue, saying the industry should better communicate effects on water, jobs, and local tax revenue.
