Meta settled a kids online-safety trial with 29 state attorneys general, according to The Verge. The reported terms require Meta to develop an age-assurance standard subject to independent testing, with stated false-positive limits for users aged 13 to 17. Meta also agreed to offer teens a way to turn off personalized feeds, suspend push notifications between 10 PM and 7 AM unless parents opt out, and limit teen app use to two hours daily with specified exceptions.
