Nvidia's largest customers have reportedly been told that servers containing its AI chips will cost more than 15% more in many cases from early next year, as memory costs rise.

The reported increases affect systems based on Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell chips, with final changes varying by generation and memory configuration. Contract manufacturers serving operators including Microsoft, Google and Oracle relayed the warnings, while Nvidia did not respond to comment requests. Samsung, SK hynix and Micron produce most DRAM supply, and the article says output has not caught up with AI-infrastructure demand.
