Oneness Biotech said it completed the single-dose portion of a Phase 1 trial of SNS851 in healthy volunteers and is advancing to repeat-dose testing in participants with fatty liver disease. The next stage moves the experimental treatment from initial exposure testing toward an assessment of its safety under repeated dosing.

SNS851 is designed to silence a gene involved in liver energy use, though the company has not identified the gene. In the first stage, exposure rose near-proportionally with dose among 32 volunteers. One serious adverse event, a foot fracture, was considered unrelated to treatment. The company expects data from the repeat-dose stage in the first quarter of 2027.
