GoPro announced plans to eliminate approximately 145 positions, representing 23% of its 631-employee workforce, in an SEC filing on Tuesday. The company expects to complete most layoffs by year-end during the second quarter of 2026.

The restructuring will cost GoPro up to $15 million in severance payments and healthcare benefits. The action-camera maker aims to return to profitability following increased competition and revenue declines.

This marks GoPro's third round of layoffs since 2024, when the company conducted two separate workforce reductions. The company had previously expected to return to profitability in 2025 but has extended that timeline.
