Cloudflare opens access requests for EuroLLM and Apertus on Workers AI

Cloudflare opens access requests for EuroLLM and Apertus on Workers AI Image: Primary
Cloudflare opened access requests for EuroLLM and Apertus on Workers AI, announcing that both European language models are coming to its inference platform. EuroLLM supports 35 languages, including all 24 official EU languages. Apertus was trained on more than 1,500 languages. Both models were developed by public universities and research institutions. Apertus publishes its architecture, weights, training data and methods; 40% of its training data was in languages other than English. Cloudflare also announced workshops for government cybersecurity agencies and critical infrastructure operators to build defenses using multiple AI models. The first runs in Singapore in October. Model access currently requires a request rather than unrestricted platform availability.
