Spanish AI company Multiverse Computing announced a $570 million (€500 million) Series C at a $1.7 billion (€1.5 billion) pre-money valuation, a fivefold step-up from its Series B, according to a company release distributed via GlobeNewswire. The round is co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital, with additional commitments from investors including Santander Alternative Investments, Tikehau Capital, HP Inc., Orange Ventures, Scania Invest, NAventures, Qatar Development Bank, Zouk Capital, SETT, the EIC Fund, the Basque Government's Hazten Scale-Up Fund, and Kutxa Fundazioa. Advised by JP Morgan and Santander CIB, the financing is expected to bring total funding to $800 million including prior rounds and may stay open to more strategic investors. Multiverse's CompactifAI compression technology uses tensor networks to shrink large language models by up to 80-95% with what the company called immaterial accuracy loss, supporting cloud, on-premises, and on-device deployment via a CompactifAI Router. Since its Series B in June 2025, Multiverse said annualized revenue grew more than 10x, with 96x year-over-year sales growth in the first quarter of 2026, and models are deployed across millions of devices including drones, cameras, satellites, vehicles, and telecom gear. Proceeds are earmarked for expanding efficient model libraries, R&D, sovereign AI gigafactory software and infrastructure investments, and regional presence in East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States. The Donostia-headquartered firm said it serves more than 100 customers, naming Allianz, Bank of Canada, Bosch, Iberdrola, Indra, PwC, and Telefónica among partners.
