REGENT reports $240 million Series B for seaglider production plans

Mare Liberum and AE Ventures led the round, while existing backers including Lockheed Martin Ventures and Japan Airlines participated; Erebor Bank arranged the debt portion. The startup said the financing raises its total capital to about $340 million and will support a planned first human flight of its 12-passenger Viceroy Seaglider, industrial production at a Rhode Island plant under construction, and defense-related work on its unmanned Squire seaglider.
