# AWS adds change previews to Control Tower Terraform customizations

AWS says administrators can now preview Terraform changes in Control Tower Account Factory for Terraform before applying them across managed accounts. The open-source module automates account provisioning and customization; previously, invoking customizations always applied changes.

The new plan-only runs cover global and account customizations, supporting configuration drift checks and review workflows without changing infrastructure. They work with open-source Terraform, Terraform Cloud and Terraform Enterprise, and are available in every AWS Region where Account Factory for Terraform is supported.
