Legato emerges with $12 million for hearing-assistance glasses
Image: Primary Legato emerged from stealth with $12 million in funding and disclosed Legato Frames, eyewear incorporating its hearing-assistance technology. The company said the glasses, aimed at people with mild to moderate hearing loss, are expected to launch later this fall through select eye-care providers. Legato said its system uses AI to separate background noise from voices and amplify voices. The funding came from Neotribe Ventures, Listen and Village Global.
