CrowdStrike in talks to buy Orion Security for approximately $500 million

CrowdStrike in talks to buy Orion Security for approximately $500 million Image: Primary
CrowdStrike is in advanced negotiations to acquire Orion Security for approximately $500 million, Calcalist reported. The Israeli startup has raised $38 million since its founding in 2024. The negotiations have not produced a completed deal. Orion develops software that monitors how sensitive corporate information moves and assesses the context of each action, including the user's identity and the information's history. The company says its AI agents can prevent leaks and reduce false alerts compared with tools that depend on manually configured rules. An acquisition would continue CrowdStrike's purchases of Israeli cybersecurity technology as it expands its Falcon platform.
