Jooba announces $4 million seed round and opens recruiting service

Jooba announces $4 million seed round and opens recruiting service Image: Primary
Jooba announced $4 million in seed funding from a16z Speedrun, Scribble Ventures and Genius Ventures alongside general availability of its recruiting service. The company combines human recruiters with AI agents built for individual vacancies and charges a flat subscription. Customers explain their hiring needs to a human recruiter, who reviews and approves candidates found by the agents before outreach begins. Jooba sends personalized outreach under the hiring manager's or founder's name and routes interested, qualified candidates into Slack. Jooba claims its approach reduces total hiring time by 50% and recruiting fees by 90%. Completing a hire still depends on interviews, hiring decisions and a candidate accepting an offer.
